The six-storey banking centre and retail/commercial structure was designed to reflect the heritage of "The Royal City." An artful juxtaposition of old and new, combining a rectilinear brick façade with a bold spire of curved silver blue glass wall at the northwest corner of the edifice, punctuating and enlivening the surrounding city streetscape. The building is representative of the historical link to the city’s storied and vibrant past. The graceful arch of the roof top canopy has become a modern day icon in this corner of the neighbourhood. The main lobby courtyard is often used as gathering place for seniors and their local community events. All in all, a grand focal point for the benefit of local residents.
