2008 VRCA Silver Award of Excellence Recipient – General Contractor up to $15 Million
A 31,000-sq-ft underground addition to the existing junior and science wings. To maintain operation of this school facility, this project required the rerouting of power, telephone, sanitary and water services to accommodate a large excavation. The building includes a theatre, music hall, offices and parking. The top of the building is level with grade, includes an artificial turf field and running track for outdoor sports. Another phase of this project included an addition and renovation to the existing gymnasium to achieve a larger floor area. New finishes and gymnasium equipment have also been added to this revitalized building.
