Rouge Valley Hospital

Our Aecon partners are undertaking this ambitious hospital expansion and redevelopment plan that includes an upgraded and expanded emergency department, an expanded laboratory, mental health and ambulatory care facilities, a new Complex Continuing Care Unit with capacity for 30 beds, and the development of diagnostic imaging and cardiac diagnostic areas. Scope of work involves the redevelopment of 140,000-sq-ft of the existing Ajax/Pickering site, with 75,000-sq-ft slated for new construction, and 65,000–sq-ft of renovations. Aecon is also directing extensive site development with the expansion of parking lots, new sidewalks, curbs and landscaping.
