Approximately 57,000-sq-ft mixed use residential and commercial project. Concrete structure consisting of two levels of underground parking, one level of retail space at grade and four levels of residential above retail. Construction challenges on this project included the complexity of the concrete structure design due to overall building height limitations imposing tight tolerances on the transition from underground parkade to retail floor plate, and the transition from retail to residential floor plates. Another challenge was the variety of exterior envelope finishes which included residential glazing and commercial storefront, brick and pre-cast concrete, linear metal soffits, steel fabrications, fabric and glass awnings, and a green roof.
