Buildings that matter.

Preserving heritage buildings helps establish continuity with our past while newer projects can help guide us in rethinking our future. A client may need their old building to look younger. Or the reverse; they want a historic structure sensitively restored back to its former glory. And increasingly, buildings need to be made in ways that diminish their environmental footprint. These are the types of challenges we relish – because they matter.

Rigid challenges require flexible thinking. Special projects are just that – special. They require thinking outside the box. Sometimes it involves phasing the project over time or accelerating it into a short window, requiring alternative solutions such as offsite prefabrication. A project can involve complex construction techniques or working in remote or unusual locations. Often it means working in occupied buildings, so we need to minimize disruptions for those coming to work and keep the public safe by patrolling the construction perimeter. In sensitive environments, like hospitals, this can also involve controlling potential contamination. Whatever your special challenge, we’ll build the right answer.
