Project Highlights
  • New construction of a university campus with 4 buildings
  • Mass timber throughout
  • Central exterior courtyard

Occupying 20 acres, Quest University is located near Squamish BC, built in the mountainside, and offering expansive views and connection to nature. The Quest University Campus features four state-of-the-art buildings including a recreation centre, a learning centre, a student housing building, and an academic building.

The campus features a stunning 350-seat dining hall in the student housing facility with lofted ceilings and stunning mass timber features. The students recreation efforts are supported with a turf field, a gym built to NCAA standards, squash rooms and exercise room.
Sustainable, LEED Gold design was achieved, with geothermal energy distributed through a radiant slab system as the main energy source. The design features locally harvested Douglas Fir glulam throughout the main academic gathering spaces.
By carefully considering its surrounding landscape during the buildings’ construction and design phases, the Quest University campus represents a stunning home in nature where students and staff can thrive.
