A heritage restoration, renovation, and seismic upgrade to 1895 gothic revival style church included a new suspended organ gallery, restoration of original floor and ceiling, preservation of heritage elements, and improvements to acoustic, sound, lighting, heating, and ventilation systems.
This building was extremely complicated and the level of finish required was at the highest level. The sound system and acoustics were designed to accommodate CBC broadcasts. The other main feature of this building was the installation of a new $1 million pipe organ and all the acoustic and environmental performance levels that it required.
