Project Highlights
- A green roof provides space for outdoor classrooms, a weather station, an astronomical observation area, and garden plots.
- The school remained open and operating while construction was underway.
- A complicating factor was the limited site footprint as the school is built into the hillside.
- Public safety and wayfinding and laydown areas were closely managed throughout the project.
The new Mulgrave Senior School Addition provides new academic space over two storeys, including: ten classrooms, advanced film studio, study centre, administrative space, and a new cafeteria. An underground parking structure below the main arrival plaza provides additional parking.
