The Omni Cobourg Long-Term Care Home will be a new 256-bed facility located at Kerr Street and Westwood Drive in Cobourg, Ontario. The new four and a half storey facility will be approximately 176,900 sq. ft. and will complement the growth of a future master-planned residential neighbourhood. The structure will be constructed of insulated concrete formwork (ICF) walls and precast floor slabs, with a half-basement level for back-of-house support services and mechanical and electrical rooms.
Site development will include new parking and site access from Kerr Street, emergency vehicle routes, retaining walls, landscape works, and re-grading to align with surrounding roads. Upgrades to water, sanitary, and storm servicing will be coordinated with the Town, including a proposed storm pond that will also support future neighbourhood development.
