The CBC/Radio Canada Broadcast Centre project includes the main broadcast centre, community access spaces, a plaza and promenade for public entertainment, as well as independently owned and constructed residential and retail components. The project was a combination of renovation and new construction, carried out while the building was fully occupied and in operation. As such, noise levels were critical and many components were carried out during off hours with double shifts, when there were no recordings happening in the building. Some construction window’s were only an hour long, so Scott needed to be very organized in project delivery to make this a success.
