Project Highlights
- Incorporated double shifting to complete the project for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics
- Accelerated the elevator construction to bring the hoist down, which was a critical path item on the schedule
- Prefabricated elements included steel structural elements, catwalk, and architectural curved staircase.
Construction of a 19-storey hotel building in the busy Coal Harbour area of downtown Vancouver. This 220 room hotel has a concrete frame structure with window wall and retail panel exterior and four levels of underground parking. Amenities include full conference and ballroom facilities with two escalators and a banquet kitchen facility, a restaurant, and recreation facilities with a suspended pool on the fourth floor and fitness centre.
