Restoration and seismic upgrade of the historic Hotel Georgia, originally built in 1927. Portions of the floor were demolished to provide for new service elevators and the number of rooms was reduced from 315 to 156, and new meeting spaces, restaurant, and kitchens were added to provide a more modern, luxurious guest experience.
The project included construction of a new 48-storey tower adjacent to the hotel with 8 levels of underground parking, 12 levels of commercial space and an amenity floor with a gym, spa and pool. The remaining floors offer luxury high-rise condominiums.
