YWCA's Alder Gardens help single mothers and their children. The project provides supportive housing for women and children, both saving them from homelessness and helping them build economic independence.
The building is a wood framed, four storey, 36-unit condominium complex providing housing for single mothers in Surrey, B.C. This building was constructed using panelized wood frame wall segments, fabricated off-site under climate controlled conditions. This project is LEED Gold for maximum energy efficiency in compliance with BC Housing energy guidelines.
