The International Trade Centre Richmond stands as the heartbeat of a renewed city centre. In close proximity to the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) and the Richmond Night Market right behind it, this mixed-use commercial development will be a key area of commerce and hospitality for the region, featuring an anchor tenant in the Versante Hotel.
Construction consists of two concrete towers—12-storeys and 10-storeys in height—with a shared 5-storey podium and parking. The structure is decoratively cladded with a perforated metal panel system and AI-controlled smart glass to automatically control glare and optimize daylight. A green roof system sits atop the parkade to include three water features and easy access to a mechanical room that serves the entire development. The project required construction of two new roads, one private access road and the other an extension of River Road.
